Benefits of the Scholarship

  • The scholarship is valued at $5,000 and is applied towards tuition fees for the first year of a graduate program at the University of Winnipeg.
  • Students are not required to repay the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be an international student (not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident).
  • Must be a student entering their first program at the University of Winnipeg (including graduate programs, undergraduate programs, Collegiate programs, PACE programs, and ELP programs).
  • Must have the equivalent of a Canadian 80% grade average, based on Grade 12 academic courses used for admission. The University of Winnipeg International Credential Evaluators will complete grade conversions if necessary.
  • Must demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities through past activities and achievements.
  • Must submit a complete application to the University of Winnipeg by the scholarship deadline (refer to the scholarship website for specific deadlines).
  • Qualifying year or Pre-Masters students are not eligible.
