Government of Italy Scholarships 2024-25 in Italy (Fully Funded)

The duration of the scholarship depends on the program you choose. Master’s degrees are usually funded for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on your academic performance. Higher Education Courses in Arts, Music, and Dance typically last for two or three years, while Ph.D. programs can go for up to three years.

The scholarship covers a lot of your expenses! You’ll be exempt from tuition fees (depending on the university’s policy) and receive health insurance throughout the scholarship period. On top of that, MAECI provides a monthly allowance of around 900 euros to help with your living costs. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Be a foreign citizen
  • Not already living in Italy
  • 28 years old or younger for Master’s degrees, Higher Education in Art, Music, and Dance (AFAM), and Italian language and culture courses.
  • 30 years old or younger for Ph.D. programs
  • Strong grades in your previous studies are a plus.
  • For programs in Italian, proof of B2 level proficiency (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is recommended.
