Eligibility Criteria:
- The Harvard Academy Scholars Program is open to students from all over the world.
Open to individuals who have recently completed or are near completing a PhD or equivalent doctoral program (including SJD and DPhil) in the social sciences. - Candidates must be promising in their academic careers.
- Preference given to those knowledgeable in the foreign language, history, and culture of different countries.
- Only scholars in social sciences and law are eligible.
- Must be within two years of the program’s start date (August 1, 2025). Therefore, for the application deadline of September 20, 2024, the PhD must be completed after July 31, 2023.
- PhD candidates near dissertation completion must submit degree conferral documentation from their university registrar by June 30, 2025, for the August 1, 2025 start date.
- Finalists must attend a personal interview in December 2024, with Harvard Academy covering travel and hotel expenses.
