The Taipei Tech Short Term Study Program 2024 in Taiwan is a fully funded program offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) to talented students from New Southbound Policy countries. It’s a great opportunity for students to learn about artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, and Chinese language and culture. The program is five months long, running from September 2024 to January 2025. Students will take courses in AI and semiconductors at National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech), as well as Chinese language courses at the Chinese Language Training Centre (CLTC). The program will also include field trips to cultural sites and other parts of Taiwan.

Eligibility Criteria Of The Fellowship:
- Be a sophomore, junior, or senior at a university in one of the following New Southbound Policy countries:
- Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, Australia, or New Zealand.
- Not a citizen of Taiwan (ROC) or holder of a PRC passport (including Hong Kong and Macau).
- Haven’t received financial aid from the Taiwanese government or institutions before.

- Round trip air ticket: NTD 15,000
- Living expenses: NTD 10,000 per month
- Housing: NTD 18,000 per month
- Student insurance: NTD 3,300 (5 months)
